New Facilities and Technologies
The New Health Care is new facilities and technologies. Since
2010, with the support of Steward Health Care, Saint Anne’s has launched
more than $100 million in new facilities and technologies, including:
New in 2013: transition to private inpatient rooms
with the addition of a multi-story, 60,000-square-foot patient
pavilion with 40 all-private patient rooms. This significant
project has allowed us to create private rooms throughout the
hospital and expand our warm and welcoming environment for
patients and their families.
An all-new emergency room with 27 private rooms.
New spacious operating rooms to accommodate today’s
A medical office building to house Steward Health Care
Network primary care and specialty care medical practices for
adults and children.
Intensive care: eICU technology provides critically ill
patients with an added layer of care by combining cutting edge
technology and clinical expertise.
Surgical: MAKOplasty joint replacement and joint
resurfacing technology. This robotic-arm technology offers
greater precision and faster recovery than traditional
Cardiac: State-of-the-art echocardiography suite.
Electronic health records.
Innovative, interactive touch-screen hospital directories in
three languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish).
